"Flowers Afer the Rain"
By : Muffet Villegas

Yesterday,
I cannot see the trees
Out of my window
Only shadows,

The thick white curtain,
The rain came pouring,

Shadows, then darkness...
I found a candle...
the wind came
and snuff...snuff...

Today,
I cannot see the earth,
Flowers blanketed the hills,
incandescent before the sunbeam.

indeed, happiness depends on how we view our world. your poem started so sad, but beauty and sunshine came through. they always come after the rain. we only have to hold on to that to be able to survive the darkness.
